Covering oneself with gold and jewels was unnecessary; it was enough to use cotton garments made perfectly by hand with the most sophisticated stitching and beautiful dyeing.

Baby alpaca fibre is taken from the neck and nape of the animal and is often from the first shearing of an alpaca, giving you the softest, most beautiful fibre the animal is likely to produce.

Treasure of the ancient Inca civilisation, alpaca was considered "the fibre of the Gods" and could only be worn by kings during ceremonies.
Our alpaca yarn comes from populations bred in the Andean Highlands, making their wool extremely strong, elastic, soft and fine. Its hypoallergenic and thermal properties make it the best yarn for babies.

Our Sugar Baby Alpaca Collection combines a deluxe natural fibre, produced in very limited quantities, with a sweet 'n' rock spirit design. Since it's a family thing above all, Wool And The Gang let babies and children be heard with our third collection. The 5 "tender-knitting-care" kits are the perfect gifts for mothers-to-be.
